The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) General Secretary Uwamahoro Tharcille Latifah is in Zurich for a FIFA workshop aimed at developing a Management Handbook to be used by General Secretaries of all Football Associations across the globe.
As the world governing body, FIFA are constantly looking at ways to stimulate growth of the game in every corner of the globe, a feat that the FIFA Administration has decided to develop a handbook to guide General Secretaries with their daily duties.
The Management Handbook: “Competencies of the General Secretary”, will provide ‘Self-training tools, for all General Secretaries.
It is to this end that FIFA administration has invited General Secretaries to be part of the panel to contribute towards the development of the handbook.
Uwamahoro who will be joined by General Secretaries from Bermuda, Denmark, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Jamaica, Peru, South Africa and Tahiti among others will among other things provide; inputs on their daily duties and tasks of a general secretary, insight into the challenges faced by the General Secretaries, identify training and other support needs and assist with the drafting of the handbook.
The meeting will take place from 4th and 5th October 2017, at the Home of FIFA in Zurich. The meeting will be coordinated by FIFA Member Associations Division.
