The Israel company cybertech in cooperation with the government of Rwanda announced that Rwanda will host Cybertech Africa conference on Rwanda Exbhition 2020.
This meeting is the first edition to hosted in Rwanda and on the continent of Africa as the IT experts, security officials, educators, health experts, telecommunications and Aviation will be looking on how to solve problems in global issues in the technology sector.
Apart from the Cybertech conference Rwanda is also warming to host Common wealth summit.
Nelly Mukazayire, Chief Executive Officer of Rwanda Convention Bureau, said, the meeting will gather technological experts from different domains.
“We expect returns from this meeting. Thus, the cooperation with the companies, government officials, Private sector,” she said.
Mukazayire added that as the government of Rwanda is appreciative for hosting this meeting for the first time on the African continent.
Rwanda was chosen to host the meeting after its tangible advancement in the technology sector. Previously, last year the meeting was hosted in Rome, Italy.
Rapaporf Amir, CEO, Cybertech, said, the participants will benefit from it since Rwanda is a country progressing in technology sector.
“We are glad that we are bringing cybertech in Africa particularly Rwanda, I thank the government of Rwanda for acceptance to host the meeting in 2020, it is will be a good platform where the different sectors could benefit knowledge and innovation,” he said.
