Rwanda National Police (RNP) launched the a week-long nationwide campaign to promote road safety.
The campaign targets various groups including drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists, students and pedestrians to equip them with traffic rules and regulations tips and the overall road safety standards.
It is part of the Police Week launched last week, and conducted in partnership with government ministries and parastatals as well as local authorities, among others.

This is the second week of activities following the first week that include the official launch of the construction of 30 village offices and installation of solar power systems to 3000 households as well as the campaign against illicit drugs.
