A delegation of members of the German Bundestag have today met with Bernard Makuza the President of the Senate of Rwanda and both pledged to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.
“Hon. Andreas Mattfeldt together with the Bundestag MPs delegation discussed about strengthening the existing relations between both countries, Rwanda and German,” said the Senate president.
The German delegation that is also Members of Bundestag Petitions Committee are in Rwanda for three-day visit is led by Hon. Andreas Mattfeldt.
The German MPs held discussions on strengthening existing parliamentary relations and continuing supporting cooperation and progress between both countries mainly in matter of economic area.
Both sides have appreciated similarities and resilience of their countries in matter of historical background and committed to continuing supporting their countries cooperation.
