Nyarugenge District has received funds from United States Rwandan Communities that are meant to support Rwandans from poor families in the program of “Mutuelle de Santé”.
Last week , a total amount of 13500 US dollars was disbursed to Nyarugenge District by Rwandan Communities Abroad and will be used to support poor families in the Program of “Mutuelle de Santé” for the year 2018-2019 . Immaculate Busingye, a delegate from USRCA, expressed her gratitude saying that it is of privilege to have had a hand in supporting fellow Rwandans.
“It is with gratitude from United States Rwandan Communities USRCA that we have the privilege to participate in the noble cause to fund our fellow Rwandan’ Mutuelle de Santé” she said as the tweet reads.
The guests of honour in the event included Tububa Jack, Diaspora officer in The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and East African Community, Kayisime Nzaramba mayor of Nyarugenge District among others.
The United States Rwandan Community delegate with a representative of Rwandan Community Abroad had further talks with Nyarugenge officials on other relevant development activities that the Diaspora can step in the funding.
The Diaspora are always encouraged to take their part in the local development of the country especially during the Rwanda days meeting that always bring together Rwandan living inside and outside of the country to share the best of the Rwandan culture and discuss the local development of the country.
