The Minister for Sports and Culture, Julienne Uwacu has expressed condolences to the family of Evariste Mutuyimana, former Rayon Sports goalkeeper.
It is said that Mutuyimana collapsed and died yesterday morning.
Through her twitter wall, Uwacu expressed that she has been saddened by the shocking death of Mutuyimana.
“We are saddened with shocking death of Evariste Mutuyimana, we condole with the family of the deceased and all sportsmen,” read the tweet.
The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA)president, Vincent de Gaulle Nzamwita also sent his condolences to Rayon Sports, deceased’s family and sports fraternity.
“We are saddened to hear the death of Rayon Sports’ goalkeeper and National Team player, EvaristeMutuyimana” reads the letter from FERWAFA BOSS.
He said that they will not forget his contribution in the development of football in Rwanda since he joined National Team in 2012.
