The Rwanda Meteorology Agency has predicted a heavy rain which should bring about landslides and floods in 10 remote districts.
According to a statement issued by the agency on Tuesday, the heavy rain is expect from today to Saturday, October 13 with ‘Possible rainfall’ of 20 to 30 mm.
Districts like Musanze, Gicumbi, Gakenke, Burera, Nyabihu, Rubavu , Rusizi, Nyamasheke, Nyamagabe and Nyaruguru are very prone to the predicted heavy rain.
The general public was advised “to be take responsive measure by fallowing advices you will be given by officials from different authority,” the stament signed by John Ntaganda Semafara, the director general of Rwanda Meteorology Agency read in part
