Minister of Health, Dr. Dianne Gashumba, Professor Anastase Shyaka, Germaine Kamayirese are on tour in areas nearing Rwanda congo border to oversee the prevention of the Ebola epidemic.
The official’s visit follows the re-opening of Rwanda-DRC border an event that took place last week.
In a press conference held last week in the Premises of the Ministry of Health, Minister of Health, Dr. Dianne Gashumba, told the journalist that there was no border closure. However, insisted that Rwandans need to cautious about the unnecessary visits in those areas especially Goma town.
So far Ebola victims have mounted to 1800 who have claimed to be dead including a pastor who was taken to Butembo hospitals in Goma but finally died.
In Goma, three people have claimed dead as others with symptoms being held solitary.
