Financial experts and policy makers will descend down to Kigali city next week for the Global Policy Forum (GPF) scheduled 9-13th September at Kigali International Convention Centre.
Organisers say the forum deliberations will be conducted under the theme ‘Using Technology For Inclusion of Women and Youth’.
This forum is an annual flagship event organised by Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) in collaboration with Rwanda Central Bank. The alliance draws more than 100 member-institutions, representing 90 countries.
The forum is a platform where regulatory institutions will share experiences, knowledge and initiatives that have made an impact in bringing financial services to the world’s 1.7 billion unbanked into the formal financial system.
Rwanda is signatory to this this ten-year old alliance. Each year, the GPF is co-hosted by a different member institution in a different region of the world.
