After using more strength in the last kilometers, passing by Jean Damascene Ruberwa who was leading the race, Eritrean Merhawi Kudus has won stage two of 2019. He was born on the 23rd of January 1994 in Asmara, Eritrea.
He won the African championships in 2015, participated in Tour de France in 2015, Giro d’Italia in 2016 and La Vuelta an Espana in 2014, 2016 and 2018.at 18, Kudus participated in Tour du Rwanda 2012 and won its first stage.
