With heavy budgets assigned to the marketing of Energy drinks, it’s not surprising that these Energy drinks have become popular world over, people have embraced consumption of this drinks.
oday, energy drinks compete for shelf space with water and other beverages.
Whereas manufacturers are minting money from this types of drinks, they are doing little or nothing to create awareness on dangers of unregulated consumption.
People are gulping down these drinks without minding on the quantities. Problem is, energy drinks are made from a combination of many ingredients including caffeine, supplements, herbs, vitamins and other additives. They are therefore more likely to produce side effects than drinks containing just caffeine.
While controlled consumption my not present side effects, there is really a thin line between ‘more and less’ and the word ‘controlled’ is relative, depending on the consumer. This literally means, it’s hard for anyone to tell when they’ve crossed red line.
Energy Drinks are suitable for people who need a lot of power to execute tasks at hand. Unlike Athletes or quarry porters, anyone one who is not involved in energy demanding activities should desist from the temptation of taking energy drinks.

Excessive intake of Vitamins B, such as niacin found in these drinks may result into liver and nerve failures.
