EJO HEZA Group – A group of Rwandans from different Diaspora communities will award Outstanding Rwandans who have distinguished themselves by doing great deeds thanks to their bravery and determination, in their professional careers by promoting health, education, assistance to the poor and advocacy for the needy.
In May 2016, Ejo Heza Group started awarding prizes to the best Rwandans in the diaspora, Anne Dushime, a Rwandan from Berlin who gave hospitality to Syrian refugees, Patrick G. Shema, a model of Rwandans from Great Britain and Aimable Karirima a journalist from IGIHE Ltd, Karirima lives in Belgium
It is the responsibility of Rwandans and of the Africans in general, to work with courage and to give some of us the esteem to be social role models for others and to make Rwanda proud “said Jean Pierre Ndayisenga, one of the founders of EJO HEZA Group and Coordinator of the activities of the Group.
There are more than 100 thousand Rwandans living in the diaspora and it is among them that the Ejo Heza Group will choose and primer the best in the hopes of inspiring, motivating and keeping the members of the Rwandan Diaspora engaged in contributing to their country’s social economic development
The Rwandans who will receive the EJO HEZA Awards of Excellence for 2018 have been investigated for six months.
They are doctors, artists (traditional Rwandan poetry, theater), cultural personalities, those involved in health, education, media promotion and ICT.
The award ceremony will be held in Paris, France on May 12, 2018 in collaboration with the Rwandan Diaspora of France.
