The momentum is significantly high for Rwanda Day scheduled in Bonn city, Germany on October 5th just a week away.
On the D-day Bonn city will be experiencing temperatures as low as 8 degrees and will not go beyond 15 degrees- this will be very cold for Rwandans planning to travel there and will therefore require carrying heavy jackets to keep warm.
President Paul Kagame will also travel to Bonn city accompanied by his government delegation and a team of business executives.
The main focus of this event will be on three things including; Our Identity Journey, Rwanda Works! The Land of a million possibilities and opportunities.
Another important focus will be how Rwanda is positioning herself in today’s globalised world.
Diaspora will have a chance to directly meet Senior Management of some of Rwanda’s key employers, such as: CMU, Bank of Kigali, I&M, Andela, RDB, NAEB, Akilah, Babyl, Cogebanque, Westerwelle and more.
Organisers have promised they will set up a Career Corner such that the diaspora members can directly get connected to employers and learn about job opportunities in Rwanda.
This same event has been previously held in other cities across the globe including; Brussels, Chicago, Paris, Boston, London, Toronto, Atlanta, Dallas, Amsterdam and Ghent.
