As Rwanda prepares to secure a slot in the forthcoming World Cup, the Ministry of Sports and Culture has extended the contract of National football team coach Vincent Mashami.
Coach Mashami has welcomed this good news which was first announced by the national broadcaster RBA although he says he has not been officially notified.
“Who would not be excited about this kind of news,” Mashami earlier on Monday told a vernacular website Umuseke.
The Rwandan national side Amavubi is expected to encounter the Seychelles team for World cup qualification.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be held in Qatar. 1.5 million People are expected to turn up in Qatar for the four-week-long global sporting event.
