Many entrepreneurs are participating in the 2019 Rwanda International Trade fair (EXPO). Exhibitors include service providers such as African Training Institute (ATI) that provides refresher courses to people who want to upgrade their knowledge to get ready for the labor market and proper management of employees.
Richard Mugisha, the Country Coordinator of African training Institute said that the company came in Rwanda in 2018 now. It operates in over 8 African countries giving training in different domains such as project management, procurement sales and marketing, banking and other different services,
“It is our first time to attend the expo to showcase our services to Rwandans that help them increase knowledge in their daily lives, our training last from one to four weeks and one gets a certificate at standard level,”
The company is currently training employees from the ministry of agriculture of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) about Strategic Human Resource Management.
Mugisha thanks Rwandans for their participation to these courses and calls more participate and get further knowledge.
“We train current workers on duties and others who want to upgrade their skills and knowledge. Each person or group choose his/her course of interest Mugisha noted.

He calls Rwandans to come and gain these courses to improve on their project management. He said that 95% of those who come to take courses are foreigners. The company is acredited and member of international certifying bodies in South Africa and in Rwanda ATI is registered with Rwanda development Board.
“We are planning to start offering Professional Project Management courses aiming to move from refresher courses to certification courses that are competitive to international markets,” Mugisha said.
